Installation

🟡 Medium · ±60 min · Required: hairdryer, T5/T6 Torx, plastic tools, suction cup. Warm the back cover, lift it off, disconnect the battery, unscrew the middle frame and lift out the old screen. Fit the new assembly, reconnect every flex and recalibrate the fingerprint sensor in Settings.

Frequently asked questions

Does this screen also fit the Galaxy A50 (without s)?
No. The A50 (SM-A505F) and A50s (SM-A507F) share the diagonal, but the frame mounting and flex connectors differ.

Will the in-display fingerprint sensor work after the swap?
Yes. After the first boot, head to Settings > Security > Fingerprints > Add and re-enrol your finger; the sensor is calibrated to the display.

Do I need new adhesive for the back cover?
We recommend fresh back-cover adhesive to restore water resistance and grip, although a thin bead of B-7000 also works.
