Installation

Does this fit every A1466 model?
Yes, the DC-In board is identical for all A1466 13-inch models from Mid 2013 through 2018. The older A1369 (2010-2012) uses a different connector.

What tools do I need?
A P5 Pentalobe screwdriver for the bottom case and a T5 Torx for the internal screw. A spudger to unclip the flex cable is recommended.

How do I know the DC-In is faulty and not the adapter?
Test with a known-good MagSafe 2 adapter. If it lights up on another A1466 but not on yours, the port is faulty.
